Well it's been a good while since I've last updated this thing and a lot has changed. Most importantly, I played at ORU and that was a blast!! The band was killer and we just had a great week all around. I don't know if we are going to be able to keep any of the tracks and record them, but we'll see.

As for the flying, it's been great. I've been checked out in the 172SP and I've done all of my solo cross countries. So tomorrow Jon and I will do 2.5 hours of simulated instrument conditions, and then I should be done.

Also, I scheduled my private pilot check ride for August 1st. That means that I have two weeks to wrap up all of the loose ends and get it done. Wish me luck!!!

Well I need to go study for the checkride.
